What’s your favorite location on campus that’s not on our tour? The Cannon Memorial Chapel. It’s one of the most peaceful and beautiful spots on campus. The architecture is absolutely stunning, but my favorite feature is the stained glass windows. Each one is unique and filled with a mix of religious and academic symbols. It’s the perfect place to pause and soak in a little quiet beauty.

As a Richmonder, what’s your favorite restaurant in the city? Cobra Burger, Greek on Cary, Bar Solita, Tazza Kitchen, Shyndigz (for dessert!)

Where on campus do you feel most energized? One of the most energizing moments I’ve experienced on campus was attending the NCAA Tournament watch party in Spider Hall, cheering on the Women’s Basketball team as they defeated Georgia Tech in the First Round. The room was packed with current students, faculty, staff, alumni, and community members and the energy was electric. It was such a fun and memorable way to come together and celebrate Spider pride!

    Favorite music genre?
    K-pop

If you could go back to college and major in a different subject, what would you pick?
Interior Design! I’ve always loved designing my own spaces, whether it’s my bedroom or my office, I enjoy making every area feel personalized and unique. When I start to feel uninspired by my surroundings, I’ll thrift a new piece of art, add a fun lamp, or bring in another plant to make the space feel more vibrant. While I enjoy creating based on my personal style, I’d love to explore the technical side of design and learn how to bring spaces to life more intentionally.

What advice would you give to students going through the college search process?
Choose a college that feels like home. When I was selecting a university, both as a student and later as a professional, I always followed that instinct. "Home" can mean different things to different people. For me, it’s a place of support, comfort, and opportunity. No matter how you define it, trust your gut and look for that feeling when you’re making your final decision. Choosing a college where you feel most at home can make all the difference in your ability to thrive both academically and personally.
