What’s your favorite location on campus that’s not on our tour? Booker Hall of Music. I played in our university symphony orchestra as a student (and still do as a staff member!). Camp Concert Hall, the music library, and the practice rooms hold many happy memories for me.
Best D-hall creation or food item? The Mediterranean bar (but I also have to give a shoutout to the D-hall staff who are the unsung heroes of UR!).
Where on campus do you feel most energized? Cheering on our incredibly talented students at their musical performances, theater/dance showcases, academic presentations, and sports games.
Favorite music genre? Impossible to choose one! I enjoy listening to gospel, musical theater, pop, k-pop, and classical.
If you could go back to college and major in a different subject, what would you pick? Economics. I took a behavioral economics class during my final semester at UR. After graduating, I took some online economics classes purely for fun.
What advice would you give to students going through the college search process?
Life has a funny way of working itself out, and I believe you will end up where you were meant to be. So take things one step at a time and try to enjoy the unique stage of life that you're in.
