Kelli Parks

    Assistant Director of Admission

    Generalist and Events Manager

    kparks@richmond.edu

    Hometown: Huntington, WV

Education: BA in Criminal Justice and Minor in Psychology, Marshall University

What’s your favorite location on campus that’s not on our tour? Westhampton Green

Best D-hall creation or food item? D-hall has so many great options but I have to say I love the meatloaf, spider chili and gluten free chocolate chip cookies.

Where on campus do you feel most energized? Being a college athlete myself, I always get excited when attending the Spider basketball games but also LOVE being around admitted students on Experience Richmond days!

    Favorite music genre? Country Music

If you could go back to college and major in a different subject, what would you pick? Nursing or Political Science

What advice would you give to students going through the college search process? Exercise patience with yourself. Be sure to research colleges and universities that align with your interests and where you can achieve your goals. Dedicate yourself, but also take time to appreciate the transition to the next stage of your academic and personal journey.
